4 STAR RATED

Mariners View is situated on the seafront overlooking the sea and harbour and just around the corner there is a choice of  restaurants and bars overlooking the marina.

Nearby attractions include Hartlepool’s historic quay where you can step aboard the 18th century British fighting ship HMS Trincomalee, dubbed the last of Nelson’s frigates. The Marina is also home to Hartlepool diving club and the Tees and Hartlepool yacht club. You can also walk or bike on the newly built promenade all the way to Seaton Carew.

Close by there is a Multiplex cinema, health and fitness centre with swimming pool, and the impressive Middleton Grange shopping centre, the third largest in the North East, which also has a traditional Market hall. There is a wealth of things to do without going far, however Hartlepool is well placed as a central touring area for the beautiful but often overlooked Teesdale Valley, Durham, Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, and the Northumbrian coast.
